The employees of the Liberty County Juvenile Probation Department will strive to serve and protect our community and to offer rehabilitative opportunities to youthful offenders.
We will assist the offender and their family in meeting the terms of their probation and help the child and the child's family achieve positive change. We will remove from society those juveniles in need of a stricter rehabilitative setting.
We will provide our services to the courts, police agencies, school districts, juvenile offenders and their families, and the citizens of Liberty County.
We will work together to accomplish our mission.

The Liberty County Juvenile Probation Department is a community-based correction agency responsible for the supervision of children ages ten through sixteen who have committed an act in violation of the law.
The probation department offers a variety of probation alternatives and specialized caseloads to meet the rehabilitative needs of youthful offenders. Disposition alternatives include deferred prosecution, formal probation, community service, placement alternatives, determinate sentencing, and commitment to the Texas Youth Commission.
