The Liberty County Clerk acts as the registrar, recorder, and custodian of important public records in Liberty County, including all:
- deeds, land instruments, county plats
- bonds
- birth and death certificates, marriage licenses
- assumed names (DBA, or "Doing Business As")
- livestock brands and marks
The Liberty County Clerk is the Elections Official for Liberty County and administers the elections for the county.
The Liberty County Clerk serves as Clerk of the Court and custodian of records for the Liberty County Commissioners Court, Constitutional Court (County Court), and Statutorily-created County Courts at Law (1 and 2).
