 Mission Statement:

The Liberty County District Attorney's Office Investigators will provide a structured classroom curriculum with pride and professionalism to all the students they instruct.

The Liberty County D.A.R.E. program began in 1994.  Assigned investigators receive numerous hours of training and instruction in the D.A.R.E. curriculum and are very well qualified to present the program to the students.

Investigator Christine Taylor is the assigned D.A.R.E. Instructor in Liberty County school districts. She is certified to instruct in all elementary, junior high, and high school classes.

D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a cooperative effort between the Liberty County District Attorney's Office and area school districts. It is a 17-week classroom curriculum teaching fifth and seventh grade levels. The program teaches students how and why they should refuse alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs as well as violence. The D.A.R.E. program is a working partnership between parents, schools, and police.
