"Situations in a which a person may potentially need to be quarantined will be investigated by an epidemiologists at the DSHS. (CALL #211 / Option 6). This information will be disseminated from the DSHS to the Liberty County Office of Emergency Management (LCOEM). LCOEM will then disseminate this information to various City Offices of Emergency Management and other entities that may be required to come into direct contact with the person under investigation (PUI). LCOEM will only be reporting positive cases to the public and will be disseminating this information through their public information officer. They will likely not be able to answer any questions regarding potential cases. They will release information only through their PIO if and when it becomes available.
